Peanuts comic strip characters Linus, Lucy, Sally, Peppermint Patty, Schroeder, and Charlie Brown celebrate Big Idea day. Snoopy and Woodstock judge their Aha! Moments. What changed the world? Will the light bulb, telephone, automobile, airplane, cookies or concerto with the blue ribbon?
My Opinion Only:
What’s the Big Idea, Charlie Brown? is new fully illustrated kid friendly story. Schulz’s endearing characters woven together with scientific fact about Bell’s telephone, Edison’s light bulb, Ford’s car, Wrights’ airplane, and Wakefield’s Toll House make for a good read. The end Your Big Idea, Describe It and Show It activity pages promote creativity and expression.
