Besides pens, pencils, and paper, there is always one other item on our back to school list; new shoes! Kids love new shoes but buying them really can be a hassle. That is, unless you have a great selection. Jemma is starting Kindergarten this year and every purchase is exciting for her. I sat down with her and looked at the Tsukihoshi shoes website and was so pleasantly surprised at the great selection they had. We easily picked out a few pairs of shoes for her to wear this school season, the Tsukhoshi Child Rainbow and the Tsukihoshi Child Dash. But what makes these shoes so great?
For starters, they have a nice fit. They allow the toes to splay naturally allowing Jemma’s feet to grow. She says they are so comfortable and I have to take her word for it… but she would definitely tell me if they weren’t. We have tried to buy shoes before and they were too tight on her toes. Tsukihoshi shoes aren’t like that!
They are also machine washable which is great for Jemma because she likes to play rough. The insoles are antibacterial so there are no more stinky shoes in our household! These two reasons to buy Tsukihoshi shoes are even more important if you have boys. Moms of boys, do you see this? No more stinky shoes AND machine washable. Go get some!
Comfort doesn’t have to mean unattractive. Tsukihoshi shoes have many options and each one is cuter than the last. Whether for boys or girls, we found so many great options and had a hard time picking what Jemma wanted for the school year. We will definitely be back when her feet grow and she needs new shoes. I love the way the company helps you order with tips on sizing (ordering a half size smaller than normal for Jemma) and I love not having to go to the store to buy them. I was worried about sizing when ordering online, but the Tsukihoshi shoes did not disappoint!
Jemma can’t tie her shoes yet but that wasn’t an issue either. Many options on the Tsukihoshi shoes website are velcro closure. Jemma can still wear such cute shoes and not have to worry about ties. But, I also decided to get her a pair of tie shoes. Why? It’s a skill she needs to learn so we will practice. With new shoes, that is a fun chore to do!
I completely and wholeheartedly recommend Tsukihoshi shoes. Jemma is beyond thrilled with her new shoes and as a mom, I love them too. I’ve given you some great reasons to buy them and trust me when I say that the shipping is fast! We had our shoes in hand quickly and Jemma was tearing through the box with a smile on her face. Give the Tsukihoshi shoes a try. You and your little one won’t be disappointed.
