For the past few days I’ve been hooked on the time management game Stand O Food. The idea is that you’re serving customers in a restaurant. You have to serve them what they want and if you don’t do it quickly enough they get mad and leave and you lose customers and money. There are more than 100 different levels.
As you progress through the levels things get more and more challenging. Customers come more quickly, you need to know more recipes, and there are more ingredients you have to use.
As you make money you have the opportunity to buy upgrades, which could be anything from spices and sauces to new restaurant equipment.
The biggest problem I have with the game is I have a hard time remembering what sandwiches get what sauces. As new sandwiches become available you’re shown once what sauces are recommended for each one. After that you aren’t shown again and you don’t see the sauces in the pictures of what you are required to make. You don’t lose money for not using sauces, but you don’t make extra money if you don’t use them.
The game is from G5 Entertainment. Here’s the official description.
In Stand O’Food® players have to feed a host of hungry patrons before they leave in a huff! The game offers you to choose between Quest mode and Lunch Rush mode, more than 100 levels to complete and more than 80 receipts of sandwiches to try your hand at. Slap together burgers and cook up some bacon as quickly as you can! But it’s not all about speed – you’ve also got to plan ahead. Put the sandwiches together in the correct sequence, and set yourself up so you can make the next sandwich without difficulty. Earn money to purchase condiments and upgrade your equipment to serve tastier food even faster than before. Stand O’ Food will satisfy all of your cravings!
And here’s the game trailer.
