ABOUT JUST LIKE MAMA
Just Like Mama is a beautiful testament to the love between mother and daughter, and especially how, in a child’s eyes, a mother does everything perfectly, from cooking to playing to simply loving. There are some things that no one can do as well as a mom. “With a pile of pancakes shaped like moons, and cocoa with a cloud of cream, no one can cook breakfast just like Mama.” Nor garden, host tea parties, cook supper, or tuck her child into bed. No one does it just like Mama can. And in the end, nobody loves Mama just like her little girl does.

I received a copy of Just Like Mama. I don’t have a daughter but if I did I bet she’d love us reading this book together. The book contains colorful art on every page and lots of pink and purple. The story reminds me of a small child telling a friend how nobody does something better than her mama, because that’s how many small girls see it. From combing hair to cooking breakfast, from cooking supper to snuggling – nobody does it like Mama. If this doesn’t have a place in your own library it would make a great gift for someone with a young daughter.
