I don’t know about you, but my kids rarely sit still. Especially my daughter. Once she gets awake enough, she is constantly on the move until bedtime. Even then, she’ll try to stay up playing with her dolls in her room.
Now that she is in school, she does get some homework 3-4 nights a week. That means once she’s home, I need to get her seated for the short time it takes her to do it. She fights me tooth and nail to sit in my “spinny chair” otherwise known as my office chair with wheels.
When I had the chance to give her a chair that would move right along with her, I was thrilled. I think she was equally as thrilled to receive the Kids Kore Wobble Chair, especially in one of her favorite colors: red. Once she sat at her little table from her grammy, or sometimes even the coffee table, she was good to go. She will now sit still (sort of) long enough to do her worksheet her teacher sends home. Sometimes she will even color for a little bit after her school work is done. I think this chair is great for her considering she needs to sit down to do certain tasks, but it allows her to move around and not feel so limited either.
Let’s be honest here, it’s not just my daughter who doesn’t sit still. Kids are just not meant to sit still. The uniquely crafted Kids Kore Wobble Chair, from One Step Ahead, allows little ones to fidget, move, spin and rock all while seated. That helps get some extra energy out while they concentrate on their task at hand. With ‘active sitting’, they are building back and core muscles as well. As I mentioned above, this gives kids an outlet while learning, doing homework, playing games, eating, coloring and more!
Did you know this is even used in schools? It’s proven to be very helpful for kids with ADD and ADHD. It’s 14″ in height with an 11″ diameter seat. It’s just right for children 4-12 years old, up to 200 lbs.
