Remember recently I mentioned my love for dark sunglasses? Well recently I tried some new ones – Magnum Sunglasses from GuideLine Eyewear.
As soon as I took them out of their protective case and saw them I had to smile. The polarized, 100% UV A and B ray protective Polycarbonate lenses are nice and dark! Yet, even though to look at my face the lenses look dark, everything looks so bright to the person wearing them. They really helped cut down on bright light and glare while I was driving and outdoors. Speaking of light. I was pleasantly surprised to find that the sunglasses were very light, which can be attributed to the fact that the lenses are made of light weight, non-corrosive aluminum frame. I’ve also mentioned before that I think my face is on the full side. Despite the fact that the GuideLine Eyewear website suggests these frames for small to medium sized faces, I found them to be very roomy. I really like the spring hinges, the sides of my face didn’t feel all squashed when I put the sunglasses on like they have with some other brands I’ve tried over the years. These sunglasses were designed with long term use in mind, the frames are non-corrosive and they even have adjustable nose pads.
GuideLine Eyewear’s Magnum sunglasses come with gray or brown lenses, and retail for $79.95. I have nothing but praise for them – they’re sporty, fun, light, fashionable and functional. They’d be a great gift for yourself or someone else. I’m putting a pair on my Christmas wish list, since mine unfortunately seemed to disappear this past weekend.
