The start of the school year always means one thing, buying supplies! One of my daughter’s favorite thing to shop for is her backpack. She gets to show her style and personality with that one purchase. This year, we were able to get her a backpack that has made her extremely happy. We were sent a Chooze backpack!
Chooze is a brand that sells shoes, apparel, and bags that are all about mismatching patterns to create a unique style. We also received a lunchbox that matches her backpack that is in the pattern of Gaze.
Today I wanted to share a few things to look for when shopping for a backpack.
1. Plenty of space – Make sure your child’s backpack has enough space for whatever they will need to carry. When it comes to the Chooze backpacks, you can choose from two sizes. We chose the large size because Joley is a big 1st grader now and has to carry her binder and books home every night. The smaller size would be great for preschoolers. It would also make a great bag for carrying diapers or other small items!
2. Sturdy, padded straps – Kids carry a lot of books in their backpacks. You are going to want a backpack that has sturdy straps. The Chooze straps are so unique because they are reversible! Remember me saying that this is like having two backpacks in one? Well, with the reverse of the backpack straps, you can use the backpack in a different design. With one side, Joley has owls. With the reverse, she has the spirals. You will notice all the zippers below. There is a large pocket and smaller pocket for each side/design.
3. Design — Speaking of design on the Chooze backpack, you are going to want to find a backpack that is stylish and fun for your child. The lunchbox, as you can see below, also has both designs on it. You can see one on each side of the lunchbox.
4. Affordable price – With backpacks, the saying “you get what you pay for” tends to be true. That said, the Chooze backpacks are entirely affordable for the wonderful quality you get! For lunch boxes and backpacks, you will pay between $24.95 and $43.95. This is a great price for a fun, unique product.
Joley loves both sides of her backpack. She has switched them twice already in her first week of school. When I asked her which side she liked more, she finally decided on the owls.
We are absolute fans of the Chooze backpacks. They have boy and girl designs and designs that all ages of kids will enjoy. I encourage you to check them out for when you are purchasing a new backpack for your son or daughter. They meet all the requirements of a good backpack and are fun too!
