ABOUT GOOGARO

Googaro the brand new monthly subscription service for moms with children 0-3 years of age. This fun box subscription features unique and award-winning products each month from established and up-and-coming brands. Each box is a delightful surprise for mother and child alike — with the hope of bringing fun and joy to their daily lives. Subscription prices are $35 per month for 3 months, $32 per month for 6 months, and $32 per month for 12 months.

MY THOUGHTS

I received a Googaro box in the mail with an assortment of general goodies to give me an idea of the items Googaro has to offer every month. When you sign up for a subscription, however, you can choose your child’s age and gender to ensure you get boxes tailored to your child.

First, let’s talk about the website. Talk about a clean, easy to navigate site! Googaro offers a lot of information about the company itself as well as how the service works. The site itself is free to join, and once you join, you can navigate to the “Join” section at the top of the page to subscribe to the monthly service, choosing either the 3 month, 6 month, or 12 month service. Googaro also has a “How it works” section to further explain the service and answer any questions you might have about it. It covered any and all questions I had!

Now, the boxes. The items I received were:

Clean-Well All Natural Hand Sanitizer, Episencial Sunny Sunscreen, Ore Magnetic Clip & Sticks, Eco-Crayons by eco-kids, HappyBaby Strawberry Organic Puffs, and a JJ Cole Collections hooded towel set.

I think all of the items are relevant to me and my son and all are of good quality. I was especially excited to see the JJ Cole Collections hooded towel set (I know, a little girly for my son, but what is a little pink going to hurt anyone?) I have a JJ Cole Collections car seat/stroller cover that I absolutely adore for the cold winters and I’m a huge fan of the brand. Knowing its towel sets usually retail for around $13, that’s more than 1/3 of the cost of the subscription per month! With that on top of the other items I received, I would definitely say the subscription cost is a great value and worth it for the quality of the items.

Now, the service itself. I like that Googaro lets you specify age (between 0 months-3 years) and gender. Remember, my box was not specifically for a boy – it was just a box of generic items to facilitate my review. Once you specify your child’s age and gender, the items will be more specific to your child, so not everyone gets the same box each month. You can also have more than one subscription at a time if you have more than one child – simply e-mail Googaro and they will send you another form! Oh, and did I mention shipping is included in the subscription fee? So, all these items come shipped to you for the flat cost of your subscription. You can sign up for Googaro easily with a credit card, which will be billed automatically each month for the length of your subscription.
