I’m sharing a photo of a HUGE bargain that I found today. I ran into the Stop & Shop for hand sanitizer for TJ and found Javana coffee beans for $3.49 per pound! And they had decaf! Whoohoo! I’m sharing this picture because I’m really excited about the price of the coffee beans! This sale was not in the circular so run to your Stop & Shop now or give them a call and see if it’s on sale there too.

This weeks Heads Or Tails theme is HEADS – Wear *OR* TAILS – Where.

I’m down fifty pounds and I’m thrilled to be able to say that I can wear jeans again! And I can now finally wear a really nice BLUE bra that my Mom bought for me years ago. And speaking of the bra, I love that it isn’t just white and the fact that the girls aren’t hanging out near my knees when I wear it! Just felt the need to share that!

Heads Or Tails 98

This weeks Heads Or Tails theme is HEADS - “Spin”. Heads or Tails is actually played on Tuesday. I intended to play earlier this week but got sidetracked Tuesday night packing my son up for his trip across country. Sorry I’m late Skittles!

The first thing I think of when I hear the word spin is the Music And Lights Sit And Spin my youngest son CJ had. He just turned ten and I just retired it in the last three or four months. He would have kept on spinning forever. Anyway. We’ve been potty training for a while so it isn’t uncommon to find my son in underwear, and before that in a Pull-up. One day he was on the Sit And Spin and a little turd slipped out of his Pull-Up. That’s the day that we renamed the toy the S*it And Spin. Yes, we can be silly that way.

Heads Or Tails 97

This weeks Heads Or Tails theme is HEADS - “Tool”.

Going back a number of years I got it in my head that I wanted a couple of my own tools. I was tired of always asking RB where a tool was or if I could use it. I bought myself a light hammer with an attractive reddish leather handle. It was a nice looking hammer, as far as hammers go, but not overly feminine. It kept getting used but hubby always said he didn’t use it. It then disappeared, and of course noone owned up to taking it. It’s been a year or so now and once again I’m tired of hunting down a tool to use. I’m going to buy a pink hammer this time around, so that certain male persons won;t be so quick to take it.

Heads Or Tails 96

This weeks game is TAILS - “Summertime memory”.

One of my favorite summertime memories is from a camping trip taken several years ago. It was during early August, on a family camping trip to Watkins Glen NY. We camp there every year. We were all sitting outside - myself, RB, CJ, my Dad, my Mom and LB2. CJ had gotten so much watermelon juice on his shirt that his shirt looked pink and was permanently stained. He was quite pleased with himself. The only one not outside was TJ. He’d gotten fresh about something and RB told him to go to his room. Now we were camping, in a travel trailer. TJ took that opportunity to look his father right in the eye and said “it’s not a room, it’s a camper”. We had such a hard time not laughing out loud but after TJ went in we had a good laugh.

Heads Or Tails 93

This week’s Heads or Tails prompt is heads - motion. Because it’s heads or tails we’re writing about anything that has motion or moves or has movement.

We go camping every year. We retired our tiny travel trailer last year because it was so small I hated the sight of it, never mind being in it. I’ve had my eyes pealed for a good deal on a larger used travel trailer for almost a year now and finally found one this past weekend.

So. My contribution for this week is a photo of our new used travel trailer, which we got a really good deal on. My Dad and I went and picked it up today. It really moves, that’s for sure. It’s 28 foot long and barely fits in my driveway. It’s about twice the size of our last travel trailer. Now I’m looking forward to camping!

These pictures were taken on a farm in Lancaster, Pennsylvania in April 2006. Most of the members of my family took a weekend trip together. It’s one of my fondest memories.

I thought it was funny when we saw the sign on the door and thought it might have been a little joke. But it wasn’t, that door led to Mr Ed’s stall.

This week’s Heads or Tails meme is heads or tails, which means you can choose either word given or both. The words this week are feet and feat.

The first thing that came to mind this morning when I thought of the word feet was a kind of pedicure I heard about that involves fish. Toothless little carp called garra rufa eat the dead skin off of the feet of the person getting the pedicure.

I have to admit, the idea kind of grosses me out. This is the reason why I think pools are better then fresh water too, by the way.

The first thing I thought of for the word Phil was Phil the name. The first Phil I thought of was Phil Collins of Phil Collins and Genesis. On my wedding day the Phil Colllins song “In the Air Tonight” came on while me and hubby were cutting the cake. Just as he sang the line “And Ive been waiting for this moment all my life, oh lord, oh lord” the first piece of cake we’d cut five seconds before fell right off of the spatula onto the floor. I didn’t find it funny at the time.

The first thing I thought of for the word where was “Where’s the beef?” When I searched for that I got some really interesting pictures back. The theme for this week’s Heads or Tails meme is talk. The first thing that came to mind when I think of the word talk is people talking in person and people talking on the telephone. I’m sure everyone else thought of that too, so I went with my next choice - music. Talk is in a lot of song lyrics. Here’s some that I thought of.
