ABOUT HORRID HENRY
When Henry fails yet again to hand in his homework for the umpteenth time, he inadvertently sets off an unexpected and curious chain of events. He forms an unlikely alliance with Moody Margaret, the infuriating girl next door, wins a talent contest, and stands up to his ultimate nemesis. With each antic crazier than the last, Henry finds himself inexplicably trying to save the very school which he has always professed to hate!
MY THOUGHTS
Thanks to Kaboom! Entertainment and Walmart, I received a basket full of goodies to create a family movie night, complete with the Horrid Henry: The Movie DVD and Slime pack, the original Horrid Henry book, and an assortment of Horrid Henry-inspired jokes, like a hand buzzer and Whoopee Cushion. I love making special time for the family to relax and watch a movie together, and we were able to do just that with all of our goodies!
I remember reading the Horrid Henry stories as a kid, and it was fun seeing Horrid Henry’s antics brought to life in this new movie, as well as sharing in the fun with my own young children! Though the movie is certainly more funny to kids than to adults, it still provided me with a few good laughs and reminded me of my youth. We all played some pranks and got into mischief now and then just like Horrid Henry. I would’ve enjoyed a few more jokes fit in for adults, but overall, this is a good, fun-filled family film.
