Finding An Apartment Doesn’t Have To Be Hard Anymore
This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of apartments.com. All opinions are 100% mine.
I've moved more than a few times during my life. All of those times came during my adult life, while with my husband. I am not a fan of moving. It's just too much everything. One of the things that's the hardest about moving is finding a place to move into once you know you have to move. Back in the late 80s there was no internet. Everything had to be done the hard way – open up a newspaper and start dialing. If you found a place that sounded good you often had to wonder if it actually was good, because there were no pictures. Nowadays finding an apartment can be much easier, thanks to sites like apartments.com.
Apartments.com is easy to use. First you put in the area where you want to look for an apartment. You can narrow your search by number of bedrooms, number of bathrooms or even how much rent you want to pay if you like. I'm not looking to move but did a search for fun. I searched as if I were moving to Ohio, where my brother lives. The results of your search appear pretty quickly. Many of the results include photos and floorplans of the apartments. I liked the photos a lot, it made me feel like I was getting a look without scheduling a visit. I could see what amenities each apartment and complex had, such as if pets were allowed, and if there was a clubhouse or laundry room. I also really liked that many of the complexes included information I would want before moving, such as nearest mass transportation and what the area's schools were.
If you're looking for an apartment, be sure to check out the site. And, if you're always on the go, the free Apartments.com app is something you might appreciate, as it offers many of the same features as the website but is right on your phone.
