The Odd Life Of Timothy Green – Use The Magical Moments App And Be Entered To Win A Frigidaire Washer And Dryer
Long time readers know that I’ve been married a long time. In fact, hubby and I celebrated our 26th anniversary earlier this month. What you don’t know is that it was a struggle for us to conceive. It took us such a long time to conceive our first child. All the while we’d talk about the family we wanted and dreamed of. After ten years I’d literally given up hope and thought that we’d never had a child. Boy was I shocked when I found out I was pregnant. On August 15, 2012 Disney is releasing a new movie, The Odd Life Of Timothy Green. For those of you unfamiliar, The Odd Life Of Timothy Green is the story of a couple that badly wants to have a child but are told they are unable to do so. In desperation, they write down their dreams and wishes, place them inside a wooden box and bury it in the garden. The next day they find young Timothy in their yard and take him in.
When Timothy Green unexpectedly shows up in Stanleyville, he changes the lives of the people he meets forever. Inspired by that, Disney has created an application (http://di.sn/MagicalMoments) that allows fans of The Odd Life Of Timothy Green to upload and share photos of magical moments from their own lives. When a photo is submitted to the Magical Moments app, it becomes a part of the Magical Moments Photo Collage:
In addition, the application is hosting a sweepstakes where users can enter to win the grand prize – a Frigidaire Affinity washer and dryer! 25 first-place winners will receive a promo card for a photo book from Shutterfly! Check out the app at http://di.sn/MagicalMoments.
I personally can’t wait to see this movie. Children are magical. The birth of my two children are the two most magical moments in my life.
