Recently I was introduced to Shabby Apple, an online retailer of women’s dresses and apparel.
ABOUT SHABBY APPLE
A return to what dresses were always meant to be — a one-piece outfit. No need to add anything…no tank tops, no cardigans, nothing (except accessories, of course!).
We started Shabby Apple because we saw a need in women’s fashion that was not being met. A need to make women feel feminine and beautiful for what they wear, not what they bare. We offer flirty, stylish dresses a woman can wear just as comfortably in the office, at a family dinner, or on a date. Shabby Apple is a fashion company for women, by women, and of women.
Because serving women and families is a core value at Shabby Apple, we devote a certain percentage of our net proceeds to charitable causes serving women and children.
I received the Shabby Apple Da Vinci dress in size XL. I chose the Da Vinci dress from a wide selection of styles. The site offers a bumber of ways to shop including by size, color, price, fabric and silhouette. Shabby Apple contains a good number of items that are marked as having a generous fit, something that is refreshing and welcome to a person like me who doesn’t like things tight or sized on the small side. The Da Vinci dress is described as “One part sweatshirt, one part puff-sleeved perfection, this easy-wearing number has a flare for the informal with its drop waist, A-line skirt and kangaroo pockets.” I am not a big fan of dresses. I prefer comfort and casual over dress any day of the week, without exception. The Da Vinci dress is awesome because it isn’t super formal, it’s casual enough to wear with flipflops, boots or heels. The dress is made of super soft jersey knit material. I took it with me to New York City recently for BlogHer 12 and found that it travels really well, no ironing needed.
Shabby Apple carries dresses and other types of apparel including skirts, blouses, swimwear, maternity wear and kids clothing, as well as jewelry and accessories. Shipping is free on orders over $100.
ONE winner will receive a Shabby Apple Da Vinci dress.
