REVIEW AND GIVEAWAY – Carmex New Flavors Vanilla And Lime Twist

Don’t you hate chapped lips? I do. Let’s face it, they just don’t feel good, sometimes they even hurt. A couple of years ago I was telling my doctor while I was there for a sick visit that I’d been trying all sorts of products for chapped lips. He asked if I’d tried Carmex. I had not, so I went out and got some. I found that it helped me more then the other lip products I’d tried and have stuck with it ever since. My favorite Carmex product so far is the Cherry tube, it goes on so nicely and doesn’t have a bad taste. I see on their website that they have introduced a Strawberry tube. I’ll be looking for that one, since I love strawberry. Anyway. Recently Carmex invited me to become a member of the Carmex Blog Squad, a group of bloggers that will get to try new Carmex products. Carmex has come out with two new flavors, and I received the opportunity to try them.

The two newest Carmex products are the Carmex Lime Twist Stick and the Carmex Vanilla Stick. Both of these new ultra moisturizing flavors come in a 0.15 ounce stick and are non-addictive and not tested on animals. They also contain SPF 15 sunscreen. Vanilla is one of my favorite scents and flavors. The Vanilla Carmex smells sort of like a vanilla candle but not in a candle kind of way, if that makes sense. The taste is yummy too! I like that these feel smooth when you apply them. I’m not a big fan of Lime, so when my brother’s girlfriend saw the new Lime Twist and told me how much she loved Carmex and how much she really wanted to try it because she loves lime, I let her have it. She thought it was delicious and loved it, saying it was now her favorite flavor.
