2011 SCOUR Project – REVIEW – Adelines Home Treasures

One of the things I wanted to do was make the outside of the house a little more attractive. The few decorative items we had out there were very worn and needed to be replaced. We have a big window in our living room and I thought it might be fun to put some bird houses and bird feeders out front so that we could watch the birds. When Adeline’s Home Treasures contacted me and asked if I was interested in a review, I saw that they had some of these items and happily accepted.

MY THOUGHTS

Adelines Home Treasures carries lots of items including garden decor, collectibles, electronics and much more. I enjoyed looking through all of the garden decor items, including birdhouses, bird feeders, bird baths and fountains. The first thing I have to say is that in looking through the site there were so many cute birdhouses that I didn’t know which ones I liked best. There are a lot, way more then I’ve ever seen in any local store. The birdhouses were all super affordable, with prices starting at about $9. The site is easy to use. I liked that while shoppers are browsing they can either hover over a product image to zoom in or they can click and get a larger image showing detail. I ended up narrowing my choices down to seven and left the final decision up to Adeline.

I received two birdhouses – the Farmer’s Market Birdhouse (#38278) and the Fanciful Florist Birdhouse (#39479 ). Both of the birdhouses looked just as they had in the picture. Both birdhouses arrived in separate boxes. There was no assembly required, all I had to do was find a place to hang them. They both look great and I think that adding these to my front porch made it look a little brighter and more welcoming.
