Did the ladies coordinate their wardrobe’s today? Whoopi was wearing a white shirt and black pants. Joy was wearing a black (is there any other color?) dress. I loved the cut of the top, with the deep vee neck – very flattering for cleavage! Elisabeth was wearing a white, gray amd black pants outfit. Sherri was wearing a grey dress.

There is speculation that Chelsea Clinton’s wedding could cost $3-$5 million dollars. Wow! The ladies did make a great point, considering what the Clintons make that amount isn’t that much if it’s accurate.

Six years of secret documents on the US war in Afghanistan have been leaked. Afghanis that have helped the US have been exposed. The information was leaked by an intelligence specialist. I completely agree with Whoopi that the situation isn’t right and it could have repercussions for those helping us as well as their families. Plus news like this could make people thinking about helping the US decide not to, don’t you think?

It seems that recently Southwest Airlines asked a thin woman to give up her seat because an overweight teen needed more room. Elisabeth said that just because the young girl was trying to get somewhere the adult should make the situation work. I agreed with Joy that that all depended on what was happening and why you’re traveling.

Governor Christie feels the show Jersey Shore gives the Jersey Shore a bad image. Jersey Shore is the highest rated show on television right now. Sherri thought that the show might be good for tourism. As a resident of the real jersey Shore I can promise you that we are nothing like those people. They may or may not be good for tourism but they don’t do a lot for positive image. Any other Jersey residents want to weight in on this?

Christina Hendricks of Mad Men is becoming a role model because she’s a “real woman with curves”. How would you take it if someone said you looked healthy? Curvacious? Robust? Sherri informed the audience that big booties are in for white girls now. ???!!!??? Whopi pointed out that women now want their lips to be gigantic too.  Joy asked if people called Christina real because she is real. The women had a funny discussion about Christina’s boobs, I was laughing so hard. Phrases used to describe included “Snoopy nose” and “The bigger they are the harder they fall”. Check out this clip of that segment.

The women speculated on why ladies might be becoming lesbians later in life. Joy feels people don’t become gay, they are or they aren’t. Whoopi said that physical relations with the opposite sex is about teaching where as relations with someone of the same sex might be intriguing because they know exactly what to do because they have the same parts. Sherri says that men and women are designed to fit together. What do you think? Can a person become gay or straight or are they one or the other all along?

Whoopi recommends taking a ride on the Gray Line tour bus for an interesting way to see the city.

America Ferrera is in the new movie The Dry Land, out in select theaters this Friday. The movie looks at post traumatic stress disorder and transitioning from war to being home and how it affects not only soldiers returning home but their families as well. I agree that we as a country need to do more for our soldiers, when they’re serving and after they’ve returned. Whoopi raised a good question – why do we send people to fight for us and give them no place to go when the come back. America struck me as a well spoken person who believes in supporting our soldiers and making a difference.

Dr Martie Haselton is an expert on sexual behavior. She said that studies have found that women change their behavior when they’re ovulating and men seem to know it and treat women differently. It’s been a while since I’ve ovulated but I don’t recall RB treating me any differently at any one time of the month.

Don’t forget, Barbara Walters will be making an appearance on Thursday’s show, on which President Obama is the guest.

On airline travel, with what you pay and what you get, all customers have rights. while I might volunteer to help out, being asked is not appropriate. The airline could have offered a comp incentive.
