Nervous About Tomorrow

I’m supposed to fly out to Florida tomorrow and I’m getting a bit nervous. We had about two feet of snow over the weekend. Flights today are delayed or canceled. On the news they’re showing people waiting around in airports like they’re on line for front row Broadway theatre tickets. There’s now another snowstorm in the forecast for tomorrow evening. Driving down is not an option as the truck won’t make it. An electric bicycle would stand a better chance of making the trip uneventfully. Plus, the schedule just doesn’t have time in it for a road trip. I think I could handle a delay but am worried about a major one as I will have CJ with me. I don’t want to be sitting in the airport for hours and hours with him after RB drops us off. And I’d hate to have to ask RB to come back and get us at a later time. I’m keeping my fingers crossed, feel free to join me!

Oh I am so sorry you are having to deal with this!
Such a nice trip to look forward to and Mother Nature has to put a spin on it! DARN!!! Well, just hope for the best and be prepared. I know it would be hard on your little guy to have to deal with this, but the best thing is to be prepared. When I was traveling and not in the best health, and worried about the weather and flights a few years back when going to Florida, I stuffed a small blanket and feather pillow in my carry on,to use on the flight. We did have a delay and I laid down on the floor laying on my soft carry on with my then 5 year old. We took extra small snacks, cards, travel games and small cd player, a small DVD player and movies with…just to entertain the kids in case. It meant packing a few more things but was WORTH it.
(WE can blame ALL of this on my 10 year old for praying for a snow day!!! Dern kids!
WIshing you a safe and fun trip!
Something you should knowgiven the weather.
With acts of God and nature, airlines have no obligation to passengers delated. Thetdo not give compensation
Only bumped passengers get tat by negotiating.
Now the Easdt has many passengers with tickets awaiting flights. You do not have to give up your seat as long as the flight your ticket is on is a GO.
When this happened to us December 26, we chose a bump knowing we would get a travel voucher, another flight (scheduled and ticketed),and meal vouchers. We did not agree to anything not acceptable to us that morning.
The ball is in your hands.
