Nautica Sleep In For The Cure Info – With Giveaway

This year, Nautica is the proud sponsor of Komen Greater New York City’s Sleep in for the Cure® program, part of the 20th annual Komen New York City Race for the Cure. Sleep in for the Cure® is the perfect way to give for people who prefer to sleep rather than run, or aren’t capable of running. Participate in the race against breast cancer and help raise money for this worthy cause without racing at all. Here’s some more info.
Not a morning person? Are you going to be out of town on Race Day? Can’t get a sitter for the kids? Do you have to work?
For those who prefer to snooze rather than lace up their running shoes, sign up for Sleep In for the Cure and help run breast cancer out of town from home or wherever you’ll be on September 12! Support Komen Greater NYC from the comfort of your own bed and still have an impact on the fight against breast cancer.
Participants who register for this program will receive a Race t-shirt and a special bib and, best of all, everything will be mailed to you.
What a terrific alternative way to help join in the fight against breast cancer!
WIN IT!
ONE winner will receive a long, plush robe in size S/M. (I have been assured they are very generously sized.) Nautica created this ‘pledge prize’ (custom designed robe) for those that raise a significant amount of money. The robe itself retails for $70.

Actually, I am the type of person who would MUCH rather sleep in for the cure! But, my good friend passed away this year after a 5-year long battle with breast cancer and now I’m motivated to put an end to this horrible disease.
I’m walking in the Susan G. Komen 3-Day for the Cure in San Diego in November where I’ll be walking 60 miles! I can’t even believe I’m really going to do it!
Thanks!
