Kids Foot Locker 2010 Back To School Essentials Checklist With Giveaway
If your kids aren’t already back to school it’s likely that they will be this week. What were the must haves that you found yourself shopping for besides school supplies? Kids athletic shoes? Clothes? Backpacks? For TJ it was jeans and tees last week, gym clothes and sneakers this week. CJ is set on clothes but I still have to get new sneakers for him but have to wait until next payday for that.
Kids always look great for back to school, lots of new things! Here’s a list of suggestions from Kids Foot Locker on how to start the school year of with style.

Back-to-School shopping is elementary at Kids Foot Locker with must-have items to fill your child’s locker.
“What’s in Your Locker?” this Back-to-School Season
New York, NY – August 10, 2010 –The countdown begins, so relish in the sun and enjoy those last days of summer! The annual back-to-school season is upon us. Whether shopping with your children or for them, choosing what you know they need and what they really want is key to a happy shopping experience for all. Kids Foot Locker is helping parents simplify this task with a “Don’t Forget” checklist for those first-day-of-class essentials.
Here’s a peak at the “must-have” items on the list:
Black or White Sneakers – Comfortable, durable and fashionable, sneakers complete your child’s back-to-school wardrobe. In the pre-requisite black or desired white, a fresh new pair will bring your child from the classroom to the playground in style. Try opting for a pair, like the Nike Wavy, which looks great and provides the support needed for a game of kickball or tag.
Polos – Some kids go from wearing their favorite playwear in the summer to pristine uniforms during the school year. The polo shirt is a uniform-approved staple item, as well as an always-in-style look, that is both comfortable and affordable. Kids Foot Locker offers polos in an array of colors – to accommodate any uniform or everyday need.
Backpacks- Not only one of the most essential accessories for its obvious function, backpacks are a great way for children to express their individual styles. For those looking to make a bold statement, the YakPak Splash Backpack with its burst of color will certainly grab attention. You also want to look for one that is durable enough to lug all those books back and forth while maintaining that desired cool factor. The Jordan collection and Jansport Superbreak have double-shoulder straps to ensure weight is distributed evenly, and is lightweight so your child is comfortable.
Socks- Pulled up to the knees or pushed down to the ankles, it’s all about sock appeal this back-to-school. Fun prints and bold color accents make this one of the hottest classroom trends. Mix and match to create your own style with Littlemissmatched socks (available in packages of three designs) or Kids Foot Locker’s new ultra-lite, low-cut socks for boys and girls.
