My son CJ has always enjoyed Sesame Street. His favorite character has always been Elmo. I admit, I rather like the red monster myself. How can you not – he’s furry, little and cute. What do you get when you pair Elmo with some of the best Sesame Street episodes ever? The Best Of Elmo 2 DVD.

CJ and I watched this DVD together. In The Best Of elmo 2 DVD Elmo has to help a Memorybot regain his energy. To help him gain energy Elmo shares his favorite memories, which are segments from Sesame Street episodes. CJ was glued to the screen the whole time. Each segment featured a popular performer’s song rewritten to have Sesame Street style lyrics. About half way through RB came into the living room and sat down. He stayed to watch until the end after seeing Adam Sandler and The Goo Goo Dolls, exclaiming “wow they’ve got some great guests on here”. Other notable guests include Destiny’s Child, David Beckham, Ray Charles, Jason Mraz and India Arie. We enjoyed this DVD a lot and I’m sure your Elmo lover will too.
