2010 HOLIDAY GIFT GUIDE WITH GIVEAWAY – magicJack
Have you heard about magicJack?

The magicJack lets people call anywhere in the US and Canada for $20 a year. Set up is as easy as plugging the magicJack into a broadband-enabled computer’s USB port, choosing your area code and providing some basic information, and talking away. Call quality is clear and reported to be much better than other internet phone options. In fact, researchers at the Good Housekeeping Institute just gave the magicJack 4 out of 5 stars in a recent review!
Many magicJack users have eliminated their phone service or have used the magicJack as an extra phone line for kids (I,e, talking tweens hogging the phone!), home office or second home. It’s also perfect for travel because of its size and range of use.
I haven’t tried this myself yet but it seems like it would make a great stocking stuffer for the frequent traveler, the tech lover or anyone who’s just interested in trying to save some money.

I have wanted to try one of these Magic Jacks for a couple of years now. I have been afraid to spend the money on something if it didnt work. I would give it a try first in my own home in the living room. We mainly just use our cell phones, but this would be very nice to have this as a landline. I also have to aging parents that are living on a very tight income on their social securities, and I know it would help.
Hi, This would be perfect for my daughter who attends a university, works, and raises two daughter full time. Point being, she is financially challenged and does not have a landline. She has a laptop, this should work for that, right? I also have a ditto scenerio with my son in another college. (geesh) I think either one could use this.
Thanks for the review.
