Recently I learned of a company called Recent Toys, who offers some really cool looking thinking toys. I received a sample of the Brainstring Advanced Puzzle Toy. This puzzle toy is a geometrically shaped puzzle geared for ages 8 and up. The puzzle contains colored strings and tips. The object is to form a solid color on each side and remove the knot. I love puzzles and while I haven’t had a chance to play with this one yet it looks very intriguing, and like something I would play for hours.

About Brainstring Advanced
This puzzle will tie your brain in knots! Pull the rubber tips and slide the colored strings through the open slots of the sphere. Creating a solid color on each side is a small task – the real challenge is untangling the knot in the middle. Make the puzzle easier or harder based on how much you tangle it up. Stretch your imagination to find the solution!
Brainstring Advanced is available for purchase nationwide in select stores and online and sells for approximately $16.95.
