Story: Climb on board for fun on the high seas as three favorite Disney Channel shows come together in Wizards On Deck With Hannah Montana! The S.S. TIPTON embarks on a triple-length comedy crossover event when Justin (David Henrie) wins a Teen Cruise to Hawaii—and a chance to meet London (Brenda Song). Both Justin and Max (Jake T. Austin) do their best to win the heiress’s affection, while Cody (Cody Sprouse) tries to win concert tickets for Bailey (Debby Ryan), and Alex (Selena Gomez) accuses Zack (Dylan Sprouse) of being a prankster. Between the kids’ pranks (who turned Justin blue?!) and crazy schemes (Alex sneaks Harper [Jennifer Stone] on board to take her make-up science class?!), the excitement goes overboard when international superstar Hannah Montana (Miley Cyrus) checks in on her way to a sold-out concert in Hawaii. But when Miley Stewart (Miley Cyrus) loses her lucky charm anklet and her Hannah wig, are her days as the world’s biggest pop star over forever? Disney Wizards On Deck With Hannah Montana is a DVD movie where three popular Disney show episodes all cross over – Hannah Montana, The Suite Life On Deck and The Wizards Of Waverly Place.
I’ve never seen The Wizards Of Waverly Place, which is the show this movie opens on. I must say that from this episode/movie the show looks pretty good. Justin wins an essay writing contest and the prize is a teen cruise. He gets to bring along his sister Alex and brother Max. Alex wasn’t going to be allowed to go but manages to wrangle her parents into letting her go. It’s at this point that The Suite Life On Deck episode comes in. Max and Zack compete to see who can pull the best jokes. In a prank gone slightly awry, Justin turns blue from dyed water. Hannah Montana arrives on the Tipton for a concert, which Cody is desperate to get tickets for Bailey.
Last but not least, the Hannah Montana Show episode blends in. Miley loses her mother’s anklet and has a string of bad things happen to her. She is sure that her bad fortune is a result of losing the anklet. She goes as far as deciding to cancel the scheduled concert. I won’t tell you the ending, you’ll need to watch it yourself to find out. I will tell you that the bonus feature on how to write an essay is great and might be helpful to the young students in your house that are starting to write papers. I’m glad I watched this, I found it amusing. Tweens will surely love it.
