Weighty Words – The Last Supper
Well, it’s official. I’m having lap band surgery. My health insurance has approved the surgery and we’re going with the April 17 date. I have to go on a special diet for two weeks before surgery. It’ll be a very long time until I eat certain foods again. And I know I will never eat the same way again. I had an everything bagel for breakfast. I then went with a friend of mine and her fiance to see Fast And Furious, which I thoroughly enjoyed. So-so popcorn and very yummy Vin Diesel. While in the car she gave me some chocolate covered Oreos, which were amazing. Then we went out for a late lunch. I had chicken fried steak and fries with gravy, with a slice of cheesecake for dessert.
Tomorrow the ride officially begins.

@ Pat. – Mom, thank you for your love and support. I know it is necessary. Hopefully you won’t be too far behind me. I love you.
@ Karen – Thank you. My big announcement will be this week. Today hasn’t been bad, I’ve eaten a yogurt and some protein drinks. Only a short while ago did I start wanting to eat foods that I can’t right now.
I am so excited for you! I am sure you will be fine. Just follow instructions or I will come to your house and bop you!
The last supper was hard for Jesus as it will be for you. However, you will be rewarded with more energy and better health. It is a journey that I applaud your taking. I am trying to follow in your footsteps but my insurance is putting mountains in the way.
