Weighty Words - I want to dance

I’ve been debating how much to write on this subject and when to write it. As they say, there’s no time like the present. Here we go.

I thought it might be interesting to publicly admit something every week that’s related to my weight and my journey to lose some of it. Well, hopefully interesting for you and freeing/therapeutic for me. I have to face things in order to deal with them.

to that end, I bring you “Weighty Words”, which I will put up on Wednesdays. Starting next week I’ll be including a Mr Linky, if you’ve got something weight related, please feel free to leave the link to your post. So here I go.

I have realized recently that I’m not as happy as I could be or want to be. I love music. When I was younger I liked to dance around. Since I’ve put on the weight I haven’t danced. I didn’t want to be stared at, whispered about or laughed at. Now, it’s been so long since I’ve danced that it’s second nature not to dance now. Only recently, after being told that I dance around in my desk chair, did I realize I’d like to dance. I want to dance. I’m going to dance again.
