The Wiggles Go Bananas

There are a few television shows that CJ absolutely loves and is always willing to sit and watch. The Wiggles is one of those shows. We have a couple episodes on VHS which he’s watched so much that they’re actually wearing out. Some spots of the tape are worn from constant play and rewinding making the picture and sound quality terrible, but he doesn’t care. I enjoy watching him watch The Wiggles because when he does he is joyful, and he jumps and tries to talk and sing like them. When I was given the opportunity to review the new Wiggles DVD, The Wiggles Go Bananas, I couldn’t pass it up.

The Wiggles Go Bananas features The Wiggles and friends including Dorothy the Dinosaur, Wags the Dog and Captain Feathersword talking and singing all about animals. Singers Kylie Minogue and John Waters join the gang for a song or two as well. I love that this DVD, along with their others, encourages children to participate, exercise, learn and have fun. CJ’s favorite songs were Kangaroo Jumping (which of course was accompanied with jumping), The Chicken Walk and Wags The Dog Is Chasing His Tail. I had a blast watching this DVD with CJ, and enjoyed seeing him dance. I liked seeing some of the animals, especially the kangaroos.
