Winnie the Pooh and all of his friends are my favorite animated characters in the world. They always have been. My son CJ now shares that love. We have all of the Pooh movies on either VHS or DVD and some of them have been played so much they’re worn out. I was thrilled to be able to replace a worn out VHS when I recently reviewed Disney’s The Tigger Movie 10th Anniversary DVD.

The Tigger Movie is the story of Tigger’s search for his family. When Tigger (Jim Cummings) is asked about his family he realizes he’s never seen any so he decides to try and find them. He begins by writing a letter. When the letter goes unanswered Tigger’s friends decide to collaborate to create a fake letter so Tigger isn’t disappointed. Tigger discovers the ruse and sets out to find his family right in the middle of a big snowstorm. Worried, Tigger’s friends set out to find him. When they finally do, Tigger realizes that what he’s been looking for has been right before his eyes.

I loved this film just as much now as I did when I first saw it. I love the moral of the story. The colors are bright and vivid. Anybody that enjoys Disney movies, Pooh movies or animated movies will certainly want to add this to their collection. For those people like me that already owned it on VHS, get the DVD. Seeing all of the bright colors will make it like you’re seeing it all over again for the first time when compared to your worn out video tape. I’m so glad we have the DVD now, so CJ can continue to enjoy it for years to come.

The Tigger Movie 10th Anniversary DVD is a 2 disc set that contains the feature film, a digital copy of the movie to watch in Windows or iTunes formats, two new Tigger adventures (“King of the Beasties” and “Tigger’s House Guest”), games and music. It’s available for purchase both online and in retail stores nationwide.
