The Big 30
Well I spent the morning with RB and Mom looking at a school for CJ. From there I went to the surgeon’s office. They asked how I was feeling, I told them I was still sore and having some odd pains and that my incisions were itchy. I also told them I thought I hadn’t lost much weight if any. They told me to wait and see.
Onto the scale I went and to my shock I saw the number 344! I’ve lost 30 pounds already! I told them that couldn’t be right and to do it again. Which they did and the results were the same. My eyes got all teary and at that point it was all I could do not to cry. When left alone in the room I put myself on the scale to see if I got the same results, you know to be sure I wasn’t having a flashback or something. Same results. I can’t freaking believe it. I’m so excited!
I stay on the same diet for a bit longer. Starting tomorrow I’ll be using primarily Designer Whey protein powder for my daily protein. They’ve been super supportive and I really appreciate it. I go back to the surgeon in two weeks. They told me that as I lose weight the band will loosen so not to panic if weight loss slows or if I get hungry (which I’m still not). How cool is this! Maybe I can wear a bathing suit this summer!!!!!

well, all you have to do is just listen to what they say, I did and my knee is at 98% so keep up the good work!
