Spray N Wash Bright & White giveaway

There are a lot of people that don’t actually realize how potent bleach is, and how destructive it can be. I remember when I was younger, my brother LB1 tried to clean up a mess on the downstairs carpet using bleach. The brown pattern wound up with a HUGE white spot about one foot wide by two feet long. Holy cow!

Many people, myself included, are under the impression that bleach is safe for white clothes. It isn’t in most cases. According to a survey, 97% of clothing labels warn against using chlorine bleach and 98% of white garment labels warn against using chlorine bleach as well. That’s a lot of clothes that shouldn’t be in that bleach!

“New Spray ‘n Wash Bright & White is the hero of the laundry room – saving clothes from the negative effects of chlorine bleach accidents while fighting stains and keeping colors bright and whites white. The unique stain-fighting formula brightens colors while delivering incredible whitening benefits. Featuring the stain-fighting power of Resolve, Spray ‘n Wash Bright & White when added to detergent successfully eliminates stains without the risk of bleach accidents and spills. It is a single in-wash stain-fighting solution, saving clothes and fighting dirt.”

One of the things about being heavy is that I am, ummm, rather well endowed. Basically I have a built in shelf. You know what I mean right? Well, most days I manage to drop food onto my shirt and stain it. Most of them never come out in the wash. My brother LB2 is what I sometimes refer to as the stain police because if he’s got a shirt with a stain it goes right into the garbage. If I did that I’d have no clothes! I’ve tried numerous stain removal products and most don’t work well. I’m happy to have been recently selected as a member of the new Spray ‘n Wash Mom Panel. I have lots of stain stories to share with them, and I look forward to learning from them and seeing what they come up with next.

BE SURE TO CHECK OUT MY SPRAY N WASH BRIGHT & WHITE VIDEO REVIEW. It’s only three minutes long and you can see how Spray N Wash Bright & White did when fighting the stain of a chocolate protein drink.

If you’ve got a story of a bleach accident, you should enter the Listen To Your Clothes Sweepstakes. The grand prize, worth about $10,000 includes a new washer and dryer, $8,000 for a laundry room makeover and a one year supply of Spray N Wash Bright & White.

To be honest, blood stains are the worst, I have underwear that I only wear during that time because they are so darn stained :(

The worst stain I have ever encountered? Not ketchup, not mud or not even blood…soy sauce!! My daughter loves Chinese and she gets it EVERYWHERE and it is the most difficult, greasy thing I have come across.

I would have to say a whole load of clothes with ink all over them because my husband didn’t take a pen out of his shirt pocket! That was a disaster!

The lining around the drum of our dryer fell out and the dryer left burn marks on an entire load of lights:( We were eventually able to remove the stains thoug…with carpet cleaner!

I’ve had a lot of blood stains to conquer, but my worst to get out has actually been ranch dressing on a black shirt. I had a horrible grease spot that I could only get out after many washes and a severe fading of the shirt!

Our worst was mud soaked clothes that hubby left in the car after fishing. So they were not only covered in mud and pond water, but it also baked on. It was awful to get out!

The worst stain I’ve ever encountered is also probably the grossest & it wasn’t in my laundry. We were having a BBQ with friends & one of their boys (naturally) decided it would be hilarious if he started burping (on purpose)….right after he drank a bunch of red soda….which ended up all over my cream colored carpet. It never did come all the way out & I had a huge pink stain in that spot. We finally just replaced the carpeting.

I know that’s not a laundry stain, but it is the worst one I could come up with.

    Thanks for the opportunity,
    Beth

My worst stain thus far was a mix of blood and mud (long story). I could definitely have used this. I also have had mishaps with bleach and I need to stop buying it because I don’t need it.

The worst stain…I have two teen daughters, who, when it is “that time of the month”, get it pretty bad. One morning my younger daughter woke up moaning. Not only were her pj’s covered in blood, but so were her sheets and comforter. I don’t know how I got it out, but I did. I think because I didn’t let it set too long and threw everything right into the washing machine.

I work in a hospital, so the worst stain I’ve ever encountered- well, there’s a possibility others are reading this while they eat, so I won’t go into gory details (and they ARE gory!). Suffice it to say that an effective stain remover would be very, very useful at our house!
