Soyfee Soy Coffee review

On my post surgical diet it’s recommended that I have no caffeine for a period of several weeks. Longer term I can stay on decaf or I can try a half caf. Being a coffee lover (one who only uses freshly ground beans for every pot)  I was very skeptical on how this would go but I knew it was recommended for a good reason. So, when offered the opportunity to try Soyfee, soy coffee, I accepted.

Soyfee is an organic coffee substitute, made from soy beans. It contains no wheat, no gluten, no carbs, no cholesterol and no tannic acid. It’s certified organic and certified Kosher. Soyfee comes pre-ground. I found the pre-ground Soyfee  didn’t look all that different from other ground coffees that I’ve seen.

The Soyfee didn’t look all that different from regular coffee when I poured it into my cup. The taste of Soyfee is distinctly different than coffee. According to the website we made it in the way that is said to result in the least favorable taste, by using a drip coffee maker rather than a French press or percolator. I really didn’t care for the taste or the aroma of it black and I didn’t find creamer helped it at all. I know someone that is vegan and she assured me that soy is a different taste that takes getting used to for many, so chances are very good that the Soyfee was fine and it was just me.

If you’re looking for an organic coffee or a soy coffee than this product is for you. The Soyfee site also lists a number of health issues that this product is said to be able to positively impact such as diabetes, cancer, heart health and osteoperosis. There are currently six varieties listed on the site – Original Roast, House Blend, Hazelnut, French Vanilla, Almond Amaretto and Chai. A fourteen ounce bag of Soyfee retails for $14.95 and may be purchased online from Amazon.

I have been searching all over to purchase soyfee its been about 4 years since i saw it in a store in Ohio. I currently live in Atlanta and was wondering if you knew of a website or store that sells it. I went to soycoffee.com but they keep telling me that site never existed.

Thank you in advance for any information you may have
