Our family cook
I do believe I have located the member of my family who cooks the best. It’s my brother, LB2. He cooks really well and seems to enjoy it. Now I’m not saying noone else can cook. My Dad makes the best Swedish meatballs I’ve ever had. But he hasn’t made them in 20 years and hates to make them. He doesn’t really like to cook. My Mom’s cooking can be interesting. Yes interesting, that’s an appropriate word. She doesn’t like to cook. I can cook, and I have some dishes that I make pretty well if I do say so myself. They include lasagna, meatloaf, chili and meatballs. I do enjoy cooking, at times. Even RB can cook a couple of dishes really well, but he doesn’t usually seem to really enjoy himself when he’s cooking.
We had a family day today. We went to the Liberty Science Center for a private party for the New Jersey Moms blog (more on that tomorrow) and then we went to my brother’s for dinner. He made chicken and spaghetti as well as sausage peppers and onions. He had cucumber salad and garlic bread. He always seems so relaxed and he seems to enjoy cooking. The chicken was absolutely delicious, better then some that I’ve had in restaurants. Also better then I make. I got instructions on how to make it because we all enjoyed it, even TJ. My parents drove up and joined us for the dinner as well.Thanks brother! We enjoyed it and we appreciate the hospitality! Love you!
