Moms On Grandparents
I’ve been catching up on my email since surgery and I’ve finally gotten to all of them. I just discovered that I was quoted in a piece that Grandparents.com did! I’m so excited! Check out the piece, it’s called What Moms Really Think Of You. I’m on the fourth slide. The quote stems from my feelings that young children should not address adults by their first name ever AND that grandparents who feel they’re too young to be called Grandma need to get over themselves and enjoy building a respectful, loving relationship with their grandchild.
I love my Mom and would be lost without her. What are your thoughts on grandparents?

I am a grandmother and though I am proud of it had I been under 40 when they arrived I am honestly not sure if I would have wanted to be called grandma. It really never has bothered me in the least but I can see where and why it might some women. These days it seems women are becoming grandmothers at a much earlier age than in years past.
