Bona judges will choose their favorite photo using the following criteria:

Judges will notify the winners (one Grand Prize winner and five First Place winners) via email by June 8, 2009

Submit one (and only one) digital photo via email to MyBonaHome@gmail.com before Monday, June 1, 2009 (no entries will be accepted past Midnight on Sunday, May 31, 2009). The subject line should read Mother’s Day Photo Contest. In the body of the email you must include your name, mailing address, phone number, email address, and where you heard about the contest. All entries must be valid or you will be disqualified.

UNFPA
Childbirth claims over 500,000 mothers each year around the world. In honor of Mother’s Day, show your support for mothers across the world and ensure that every woman can deliver her baby safely. A recent Kaiser Family Foundation survey found that two-thirds of Americans support government funding for global health. Americans for UNFPA works in our country to mobilize support for the United Nations Population Fund, the largest source of assistance for women’s health internationally.
1. Every minute a woman dies in childbirth somewhere in the world and almost all of them are preventable.
2. Every year, the world loses $15 billion in productivity because of maternal death. It would only cost $6 billion to provide the health services to save women’s lives.
