Ice Age 3 Dawn Of The Dinosaurs DVD Review

ice age 3 dawn of the dinosaurs double pack

I’ve been spending more time with the family doing things together. Recently we had a mini family movie party and watched the movie Ice Age 3 Dawn of the Dinosaurs. I’d seen the first Ice Age and enjoyed it very much. I somehow missed the second Ice Age. I was at a small disadvantage when we watched Ice Age 3 because I didn’t know a couple of things but enjoyed the movie very much anyway. We all enjoyed 3 and thought it was funny.

Ice Age 3 Dawn Of The Dinosaurs opens with Scrat chasing an acorn, as did the first. Manny (Ray Romano) and his wife Ellie are expecting their first baby. They’re traveling with Diego (Denis Leary), who’s feeling old and not the greatest hunter, as well as Sid (John Leguizamo), who’s caring for three dinosaur eggs that they found. The dino eggs hatch and the group is joined by three mischievous dino babies. (The dino babies are really adorable.) The mama dinosaur comes looking for her young and takes them and Sid. The others follow in the hopes of finding and rescuing their friend. The group discovers a secret area inhabited by all sorts of dinosaurs. It’s here that they meet Buck (Simon Pegg) the one -eyed weasel searching for the dinosaur that cost him his eye. There’s lots of chasing through the jungle, on land, on water and in the air. Ellie gives birth in the middle of an attack. I don’t want to give away all of the details but I will tell you that Buck (and the rest of the group) does meet up with Rudy, the dinosaur that took his eye.
