I have really oily skin. One of the reasons I haven’t worn much makeup over the past few years is that it just didn’t seem worth the trouble. I’d clean my face and put on foundation, which has always felt heavy on my skin, like putty or spackle. Then I’d go to work or do whatever. Almost immediately the foundation would wear off onto my clothing. With time and sweat it looked smeared and splotchy. Now that the weight is coming off I find myself more interested in my appearance and wearing makeup again. bareMinerals MATTE SPF 15 Foundation comes in a neat little plastic container. The lid screws off to reveal a plastic sifter that clicks into place covering the actual foundation. I must say that I am still amazed every day I wear this. It doesn’t rub off or wear off and it covers nicely. I have oily skin and this is the first time in a very long time that my face doesn’t look shiny an hour or two after putting the product on. I love that once I out it on it lasts all day – it looks just as good when I’m leaving work as it did when I went in 8 hours earlier, which makes me feel good. I’ve gotten nothing but compliments while wearing it. I’ve had no reactions from wearing it. It washes off easily and I really think my skin feels smoother since I started wearing it. I, too, have been using the bareMinerals MATTE SPF 15. My skin is oily in the t-zone and I don’t normally wear foundation or powder of any kind because it always felt like I was wearing a mask. Well, not with bareMinerals! It has phenomenal coverage, yet I don’t know it’s on. It controls the oil and my skin looks ever so radiant. I’m hooked – this stuff rocks!
Once upon a time I was given some of these wonderful Bare Escentuals. I wore some off and on for a year. More off than on…………so I gave them back to my daughter. Wow, wish I hadn’t given them all back. (You know how we get in our moods. lol) I will say they were the best make up I had ever owned.
