With the cold of winter upon us many of us will start getting the familiar feeling of dry winter skin. Here’s an affordable product that would make a great stocking stuffer.
Vaseline is a brand that I have used for many years. I remember my Mom always having Vaseline Petroleum Jelly in the house at all times. When I started my own family I bought it because I knew it worked. Since then Vaseline has expanded it’s product line to include lots of different skin care products. The latest edition to the Unilever family is Vaseline Sheer Infusion with Stratys 3 Body Lotion.
Vaseline Sheer Infusion with Stratys 3 Body Lotion combines elements to make a lotion that not only infuses moisture in the top layer of skin but also the core and deep inner layers as well. By putting moisture in all of the layers the skin stays hydrated, which gives you better feeling and better looking skin. We only see the outer layer of our skin but the inner layers have needs as well. It’s been shown in studies that the better hydrated these multiple layers of skin are the better the outside layer feels and looks.
Vaseline Sheer Infusion with Stratys 3 Body Lotion is available in three different formulas.
- Botanical Blend – This formula contains botanical cypress extract and eucalyptus extract known for soothing skin benefits. It features a sap boost scent with hints of Fiji apple and Chinese mandarin, water lily and stephanotis flowers and Baltic amber and musk
- Mineral Renewal – This formula contains enriching minerals found in healthy skin for when your skin feels tired and depleted. It’s scent features a blend of crisp pear, fresh bergamot, and the floralcy of apple blossom and white peony with a hint of ginger essence.
- Vitamin Burst – This formula contains vitamins B5 and E, for those whose skin needs a boost. It has a Ferngully scent that includes blend of sparkling citrus and red currant berries, pear and rhubarb, and enlivening flowers and spices.
I received a sample of all three formulas. All three have a light and fresh scent, it’s not overpowering or medicated smelling. I have been using the Botanical Blend and find that my skin doesn’t seem to be as dry or itchy. I like that the formula doesn’t feel greasy after applying, and that I don’t feel like I have to reapply after a short time.
