HOLIDAY GIFT GUIDE - The Guiding Light For Your Mailbox

GIFT IDEA - GUIDING LIGHT FOR YOUR MAILBOX

The ability to find a house is something that is often taken for granted. Does the pizza or Chinese delivery guy need help finding your house? If they do you can bet that the police, fire department or ambulance may have to work to find it as well. Those are some people you don’t want just wandering around looking for you - you want them all to get to you as quickly as possible when you need them. That’s where the Guiding Light for your mailbox comes in.

About the Guiding Light For Your Mailbox

The Guiding Light is a solar-powered sleeve that fits over any standard mailbox and illuminates your house numbers, making it easier for first-responders, friends and family, and delivery people to find your home quickly – especially important when seconds count in an emergency.

I received a Guiding Light for your mailbox. It’s very easy to assemble. The Guiding Light is actually a saddle that fits over any standard sized US mailbox. There is a windowed area on each side where your house numbers go, that area lights up using a solar powered battery once darkness falls.

To get it ready to use first you have to put the numbers in.

Lift the window.

There are small peg holes where the numbers rest.

Close the window area up and you’re ready to mount on your mailbox.

After mounting and attaching with the included hardware, remove the little protective tabs from the solar powered battery.

You’re finished.

This is my mailbox during the day.

You can actually see the lighted area of the mailbox from four blocks away. You can see the numbers at just about a block away.

The Guiding Light was easy to put together and attach and it looks terrific on the mailbox. More importantly, there is no mistaking the number of my house so there won’t be any delays in people (or food) getting to our house. I think this is a super cool item and I really like it.

The Guiding Light is currently only sold online at www.guidingmailbox.com for $79.95.

Wow, this is a great idea!
I live out in dark rural area, NO street lights & no one even has lights at the end of our driveways!
We have had a couple of ambulance calls that this could of been a faster response to if it had been dark out!
In fact the neighbors had a shed catch fire last winter & if hubby hadn’t seen the smoke roll across the front of our house & called them to wake them & 911, they would not be here today! And the fire dept did get turned around, as they thought it was a barn fire & came up the wrong road!
this would of been great for that!

    please enter me!

This would be nice to have, esp at night so the pizza man will actually not pass our home.

I don’t know how many times the pizza guys haven’t been able to find our house. This would guide them in the right direction.

we live out in the boonies and could have used this so many times!

Aside from pizza, the biggest need was for a 911 call when my daughter was only a few months old and had a seizure, it was bad, her apnea alarm went off and everything, but 911 took 20 minutes because they passed our house FOUR times, because there are no street lights.

Thankfully most of the drivers know us now, she has had a few trips because of the seizures so they don’t take as long anymore- but this product would have helped A LOT!

I would love this, even though my house is pretty easy to find, my family doesn’t seem to know when to turn the lights on at night, so a lot of times, when I arrive home when it’s dark, I use my cell phone to light the way. This would give me a little more light to find my way.

This would be fantastic because there are no lights by our driveway and the place is hard to find. Everyone I know goes right past! I love this light and its perfect for my mailbox

I would love to win this for my parents. They live way out in the country and it gets very dark at night. They are also in their 70’s - 80’s and my dad has leukemia. It would be a comfort to know that should an ambulance or emergency vehicle be needed, they could find the house without losing precious moments. And at absolutely no maintenance or bother for my parents! Love it!

THis would have come in handy when I was unfortunately sent by ambulance out at night and our house porch light is dim and numbers not very visible. ALSO…our snow plow took out our mailbox and even broke the heavy wooden post last year…we had to dig out all the flowers and bulb plants to redo the WHOLE thing. Would have been nice for the drive to see this at night easier. thanks…it is a GREAT idea!!!

With my mailbox being on a road with the speed of 55mph it is hard to see the numbers while you are driving
