There’s a saying that every woman should have pearls, in one form or another. When I was 12 and in high school I got a pair of pearl earrings while on a class trip in Florida. I loved those earrings, and have no idea what happened to them. I like good jewelry but only versatile jewelry that can be worn all of the time. I received a set of 9-10mm Freshwater Elite lavender pearl earrings. They arrived in a velvet box accompanied by a certificate of GIA appraisal. I was surprised to find that the color of the earrings was almost identical to the color of shown on the website, a light pinkish lavender. The posts are of 14K gold, something important to a girl like me that once had her ears get infected from posts made of cheap metal. They go great with jeans, my work clothes and dress clothes. I have received numerous compliments about them. I love them and wear them every day.
The selection of on the Pure Pearls website is astounding. They offer several types of pearls including Akoya, Tahitian, Freshwater and South Sea. The website is easy to navigate. If you don’t know much about pearls (like me) you’ll appreciate the section of pearl information and education. I didn’t know that pearls need moisture, did you? Pricing is clearly marked, along with the retail price you might see the item for elsewhere. I looked at some pearls in the mall for comparison and the Pure Pearls pricing is much lower.
