My friend’s cousin once burnt his hoo-ha because he didn’t realize how hot a laptop can get and used it on his lap without benefit of protection (or clothing, LOL). The Belkin CushTop is a must have item for anyone with a laptop.

I tried the Belkin CushTop. I thought it might be awkward having it on my lap but it was soft and comfortable and actually gave me a more comfortable angle for typing. I didn’t feel any heat coming from the laptop when I used it. I’d love to see a wider version that allowed for use of a mouse as well.

Usually, I just put my MacBook on my knee or I use a pillow to lift it up a little.
We use all sorts of things – just depends on where we are using the laptop. Sometimes a pillow, sometimes a breakfast tray, sometimes a stack of books – it’s just crazy! This would be awesome to use!

Right now I have a wooden lap tray. It’s kind of heavy and bulky
I have a little plastic board thing that keeps my laptop from getting too hot on my lap. It works but isn’t the most comfortable…

I read your MOm’s Here and THERe post about the Wizards of Waverly Place MOvie on DVD. My kids love this show and we have seen parts of the movie. I guess it will teach my kids to be careful what they wish for?!!!It is a question that many could ask…what if my parents never met?

OH my gosh that was funny! I am dope who doesnt put anything under my laptop, but it is a small one and doesnt put out THAT much heat. BUT, when on long enough i put a blanket or pillow under it as i am in bed most of the day. I know this isnt good for the computer. I would LOVE to have this cushion!!!
