Getting my paperwork organized
I recently realized that I need to reclaim my house and organize things better. I decided that I was going to go through all of the papers in the house and scan them. That way I could shred originals and regain a lot of space. My thought was that I wanted all of the documents together with room to add in the future. I came to the conclusion that I wanted to put it all on one usb flash drive, so I could access them now and if in the future I upgraded computers I wouldn’t have to move everything off of the hard drive.

I was going to make my purchase locally on my way home today but decided to put it off another day. Good thing I did! This afternoon I was browsing the Buy.com sale page and I saw the same size drive that I was going to buy for less money. A lot less. The ad was for an 8gb SanDisk Cruzer Micro U3 Flash Drive. It was on sale for $16.99, which is a big savings off the retail price of $57.99. And, the drive was in stock and they’d ship the drive to me for free. What I like about this drive over the first one I was going to get is that this one has a retractable connector, which means there’s no cap to get lost. I’m ready to order now!
I’d love to hear how you keep your paperwork organized.
