Arriving early to discover you’re late
Originally TJ was scheduled to have basketball games this week on Tuesday, Thursday and today. We got a call on Tuesday letting us know that the games for Tuesday and Thursday had been rescheduled. I listened to that voicemail four times to make sure I got the information right. Tonight’s game was scheduled for 8:15. We arrived at 8pm to discover that the game had been played at 6pm and the coach had quit for personal reasons. I feel so bad that TJ wasn’t at the game. He’s got one of his friends sleeping over so his mood shouldn’t be down for too long.
