What’ve you heard?

Here’s what I’ve heard recently. This past week we went to Walmart to pick up a few things. On the way out of the store my twelve year old son asked me what Trojans were. I asked him where he heard about them and he said he saw them in the store. I told him they were condoms and he said “oh, like mayonnaise and mustard?”. It was too funny, and quite difficult to keep from laughing. I told him no, they were a method of birth control, to which he replied “oh, but those don’t always work”. What have you heard that’s made you laugh lately?

Yesterday, I heard my almost three year old, after her dad told her not to do something, say “bite me” to him. Oy. It’s one of those “don’t talk like that” to the kid scenarios and then walk out of the room so you can laugh like a loon.

That’s funny! My junior high’s mascot was the Trojans. They finally changed it a few years ago because people made fun of us poor Trojans!
