The Women are coming

The Women are coming! The Women are coming! I’m terribly excited, because I’m going to go see a movie this month, sans hubby or children. I don’t mind going with them, but I frequently don’t get to see the movie I want because they don’t like “girly” movies. There’s a movie coming out this month called The Women that I’m going to see, thanks to Dove and the Family Review Network. I’ll be taking my Mom and a nice, new, roomy, brown shoulder tote full of snacks with me to see the movie.
The Women premieres in theaters nationwide on September 12, 2008. The cast of is full of well known women. These terrific actresses include Meg Ryan, Annette Bening, Eva Mendes, Debra Messing, Jada Pinkett Smith, Cloris Leachman, Bette Midler and Candice Bergen. The movie The Women is about relationships, trust, betrayal, friendships, loyalty, career, family and finding one’s true self. I’m excited because commercials have started airing on television for this movie and it looks great.
If you want a behind the scenes look, check out Dove’s short film – The Women Behind “The Women”. This short film compares real beauty against manufactured beauty and follows a sixteen year old young woman as she goes behind the scenes of a movie production to learn the movie making process and the people involved.
Now that you want to see the movie too, be sure to stop by the Family Review Network, where you’ll find a giveaway for 2 tickets to see the movie!
Be sure to look for my review later this month.

BG. I have been wanting to see this movie, but I have been entirely too busy to take an afternoon off to see it. I missed Mama Mia, too. When my friend invited me, I was working concession for a TB Bucs game and couldn’t go. I will have to look for your review, I guess, or wait till they come out on video.
