The knee is not the problem
I went to the orthopedist yesterday to go over the results of my MRI. He told me there is more wear on my right knee than he’d like but it is not the source of my pain. He had a couple of xrays taken of my hip to be safe but he didn’t feel the pain was coming from there either. He said he’s fairly sure that my pain is actually radiating from my back. He wants me to have another MRI, this one of the back, and an EMG as well. I’ve scheduled the MRI for this Saturday. I knew there was no way I’d be able to be in the same MRI tube at the hospital where I had my knee done and be still for long. I found another imaging center nearby that had an open MRI. While it won’t be quite as comfy as home theater seating it should be more comfortable for me than the closed tube.One of the girls talked to me on the phone about it and said my head won’t be in there at all.
