Snow day
Well as it turns out my older son didn’t need to worry about missing school and not having perfect attendance. It snowed during the night, not blizzard snow but enough to make things messy for us. When I left here at 5:30am to go to work the roads hadn’t been plowed, sanded or salted and were slippery. Work was busy because of all of the accidents. The radio announced a delayed opening for both my sons, an hour later that announcement was changed to a closing. So the boys stayed home with their Dad today. It has since stopped snowing but now we have sleet and rain that’s supposed to freeze. My brother works up near the airport and said it’s worse up there. Good thing my parents flew out before this storm or they might have been wishing they’d bought some travel insurance.

We are just enjoying the storm that blew through your parts today…
And somehow misery deserves company, as I have read that in some places there are cherry blossoms on trees(CAN we say BITTER/ENVIOUS??)… and considering I am just getting ready to put on my boots and coat to shovel… I just thought I would state that I can relate, as Cherry blossoms must be a distant memory to you as well..
