Review of My M&M’s

You’re probably familiar with regular m&m’s. You know, brown bag full of little round pieces of candy with an m on one side. Crunchy candy outside, milk chocolate inside. Well, My M&M’s are the regular m&m’s you’re familiar with but they’re personalized. Personalized and customized by you. When I got an email telling me about My M&M’s I quickly volunteered to try them. I mean really, who’d pass up the chance to eat m&m’s? And doesn’t everyone like to check out personalized things?

You get to choose the color m&m’s and the font for the messages. You can add text or pictures or a combination of both. If you’re adding text you can have up to two different messages, each one containing two lines of up to eight characters. If you’re adding pictures you can have up to two pictures. If you’re adding both you can have up to two pictures and up to two different messages. After making your choices you’re shown a preview before placing your order.

I wasn’t sure if I wanted to go with the pictures, the text or both so I tried them all.I thought about going with the picture I use for my avatar online. You know, the two cats.

They looked good but I decided I wanted something that the rest of my family would get a kick out of too.  I chose to get red, green and white m&m’s, being the holidays and all.  I went with four different messages. The m&m’s are available in 7 ounce bags or a 5 pound bag.Numerous types of boxes, containers and dispensers are also available for purchase.

My order arrived in less than one week. The four bags of candy were packed inside super sturdy cushiony padding within the shipping box. The m&m’s that I received were inside a nice fancy bag instead of the usual brown bag bu they were the same size as regular m&m’s and they tasted the same. The difference was that they were My M&M’s.

The only suggestion I have is regarding the actual bags that the candy comes in. I think it could be packaged better. I would like to see the bags that the candy comes in be either resealable or have one of those plastic ties attached. These m&m’s aren’t cheap and I was not happy when my open bag spilled half of its contents onto the floor.

My M&M’s would be terrific for all sorts of personal uses including wedding and shower favors, anniversaries, holidays, party snacks and gifts.
