Raise your hand if you think RB’s going to paint
Today is my birthday and the first day of my vacation. Me and the boys leave for our camping vacation in upstate New York tomorrow. Hubby informed me several days ago that he wanted to say home to get some stuff done. He claims that he’s going to finish painting the living room and possibly paint the boys bedroom, and that he’s going to work outside. Now I’m sure he thinks he intends to do those things, but he isn’t always the most industrious person on the planet. I would be thrilled if anything got done, especially the living room. I’ve been looking at an unfinished wall for two years now. About two months ago he did tape and spackle it but stopped there. He’s still got sanding and painting to do. We’re not doing anything fancy in the living room like installing home theater sconces or anything but we are going to rehang all of the shelves and pictures. I think he means to finish, but am also thinking that since me and the boys won’t be here he’ll sleep in and be a couch potato all weekend. Finished living room? I’ll believe it when I see it.
