On sewing and knitting

I was asked recently why I didn’t have a craft blog. This is my answer. I am not crafty at all. I do not know how to sew or knit. I might be able to thread a needle but maybe not. My Mom gave me a cute musical sewing box about ten years ago that’s been used exactly once when me and my Dad needed to do a small project. It’s in the way back of my linen closet. I wouldn’t know the difference between polyester and Duralee fabrics. Yes in case you are wondering, there have been times I wish I knew how to sew. Like maybe enough to do a hem, reattach a button or operate a sewing machine. I used to know how to use a Buttoneer but that was thirty years ago and I don’t know if they make them anymore. I wonder if they make sewing machines for people that don’t know how to sew. Anyone?

I think sewing machines were invented to make sewing faster but I could also be wrong, you know. LOL!

Your crafts are beautiful. I sometimes wish I was handier. I was serious, wondering if they make sewing machines for people who don’t know how to sew.
