Might be time for a new primary

I got a message from the nurse at my primary physician’s office telling me the xray of my knee was back and it’s not broken. Well, no kidding. I never thought it was broken. I told the doc that my knee was in a lot of pain when I was on my feet, and that the pain shot up to the hip and lower back as well. The only way I can describe the pain in the knee is as part burning and part tearing, from the inside of the knee to the outside. I’ve had this for over a month now. Some days I can hardly walk without almost falling down. Painkillers don’t even really help it much. I’ve even tried performing some massage therapy on myself. I think I need a ct of the knee, leg and back. I’m considering changing primary physicians. I’ve never had a problem with this one until now but I feel like he isn’t taking me seriously.

That’s how I feel with my headaches I’m suffering. I’ve had the pain for so long I can’t remember when it started. I’ve been to the doctor twice, been through all the required meds and still have the headache. I don’t like being in pain and not getting results from the doctor.

Lynne - having a headache all of the time must really stink. You can’t just get off of your feet for a while to make that pain ease.
