It’s time to share some more good stuff

Well, here it is Thursday again. I received an email earlier in the week with a video clip that brought me to tears. In case you haven’t noticed I’m in tears a lot on Thursdays when it’s time to Share Some Good Stuff with my pal Skeet. Sorry, I can’t help it. Anyway, here’s the story. Jason Mcelway is a student at Greece Athena high school in Rochester NY. He’s the team manager of his high school’s basketball team. He’s also autistic. In the last game of the season the coach decided to finally let Jason play. What Jason proceeded to do on the court is incredible, but that is not what made me teary eyed. What I found amazing and truly terrific is the amount of support Jason has from teammates and staff. It made me so happy I got tears in my eyes, seeing him as a happy and accepted individual playing a game he loves, and seeing others accept him for who he is. That’s good stuff.

Here’s the video.
